The first created movie poster is said to have been created by Jules Cheret in 1890, promoting a short film entitled Projections Artistiques. Since then, millions of movie posters have been created to promote films. Some films have very few posters, while others have many.
There is the common poster, but sometimes also characters posters or groups of characters posters: these may contain character or actor's name, a scene related to that character, or simply the name of the movie with or without a tagline.
